Nancy O'Dell's professional career started in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news with WPDE-TV. In later years, she was employed by WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. The stories she reported in Charleston about the police's leniency regarding DUI cases led to a State Law Enforcement Division to examine. It led to the state government imposing more stringent guidelines in these cases. Ms. O'Dell received recognition from The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Award all media South Carolina. After her time in Charleston, O'Dell worked as a co-anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative reporter. Then she was hired by Access Hollywood to work as the weekend and weekday correspondent. As well as her role as anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and also to Dateline NBC. She was a reporter for events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. In addition to co-hosting Pre-ShowArrivals for The Emmys & The Golden Globes.
