Nicole Ari Parker, an American actor who has appeared on film and on television, and in stage productions, is known for portraying Teri Joseph, a flamboyant attorney in the show on Showtime called Soul Food. After her marriage she became Nikki Kodjoe. Growing up living in Baltimore, Maryland, she was always fascinated by acting.
