Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the child of a Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. She is fluent of German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. When she was 11 she choreographed and danced in a show that resulted in a German television appearance. Her performance included a snow maiden from Russia who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. The girl graduated high school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Then in NYC, she was studying acting at the HB studio. Then, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up various initiatives. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and a Russian mother Olga. The couple divorced when she was 13 years old and she was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX.
